The 2022 Year-End Round-up

A look back at the SABI's journey over the past year and the achievements that have helped to bring a new kind of healing to those in need.

SABI Mind Calgary Healing Centre Opens March 2022

Alberta’s first fully integrated psychedelic-assisted therapy clinic officially opened its doors.

“We came together out of a need for change and the promise of hope,” says the Founder of SABI Mind, Heesoo Cho. “We recognized that together, we can provide opportunities for better health, improved quality of life, and the discovery of new wholeness. At its core, the SABI experience relies on human connection.”

Canadian Psychedelic Survey Launches January 2022

A group of investigators led by SABI Mind President Philippe Lucas PhD created and launched the Canadian Psychedelic Survey (CPS). The CPS marked the historic opportunity for Canadians to participate in the most extensive assessment of National psychedelic use.

The online survey included 650 questions gathering data on detailed patterns of use for 11 psychedelics. CPS received 2400 responses from across the country, making this the most extensive survey in Canada.

A Collaborative Space

We believe collaboration is critical in providing accessibility to healing. Our SABI programs will continue to provide education and accessibility to those that need it the most.

Full Circle

SABI Mind’s Full Circle is a recurring event series that brings together industry thought leaders and provides insight and in-depth conversations in an unconventional healing space. This past year we did a deeper dive into the largest Canadian Psychedelic Survey with our President, Philippe Lucas; received a better understanding of harm reduction practices with Stacey Forrester; and unpacked on PAT effects chronic pain with our Anesthesiologist, Dr. Kelly Shinkaruk.
